Occutation of Aldebaran by Moon 12/12/16

Here is a still taken just prior to the occultation of Aldebaran.  Aldebaran is the tiny, reddish dot low left near the edge of the Moon.



Here is a link to a YouTube time lapse of the occultation.  The haze you will see is caused by high cirrus clouds and jet contrails.
